The production of Cròniques de la Barcelona Contemporànea will begin as of January 2010. Nonetheles, we are still opened to the possibility of co-producing it with another production company interested in this specific project or in several projects which would follow the same model but based in historical documentary archives of other cities or regions.

            This second possibility responds to our purpose of developing a series of documentaries, by means of the same research and work methodology, about any other cities that lack historical documentaries such us the one we are carrying out. According to each city, we will search new information and documentation sources from which retrieve archive pictures adapting us to the historical context of each place.

            We want to underline the great interest of this project, which is directed by a production crew remarkably experienced in such documentaries. Not only because of the intrinsic value of film archives’ divulgation itself but also because of the outstanding product, which is a city’s visual chronicle that explains its development and that could become an inestimable cultural/educational/didactic reference.
